Ford Parklane

👉 Ford Parklane

  • The Ford Parklane was a station wagon produced by Ford for the 1956 model year. Similar to the Chevrolet Nomad, the Parklane was a premium two-door station wagon. It combined the body of the two-door Ford Ranch Wagon with trim elements from the Ford Fairlane sedan. The Parklane featured a stainless-steel bodyside stripe, fully-carpeted interior, and a privacy cover for the cargo area. It shared powertrain options with other Ford station wagons. Despite its advanced features, Ford discontinued the Parklane after just one model year, replacing it with the Ford Del Rio. The Parklane remains an interesting piece of automotive history.
